And I can’t be the only one who gets breakouts on my face and neck after cleansing it too much (it seems like any more than twice a week is asking for trouble). Showers are awesome, but you don’t want to overdo them—and we’re here to tell you that taking as many showers as possible isn’t actually good for you!
Washing your hair every day

If you shower more than once per day, you’re more likely to wash away these protective oils—and over time this will lead to dryness in your hair follicles, making them more prone to breakage from brushing or combing; frizziness; and greasiness (no matter how often you wash).

The first thing to keep in mind is that you should wash your face twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. This will help you keep oily skin balanced and clear of breakouts.
Secondly, it’s important to use a gentle cleanser on your skin everyday. You don’t want to strip the natural oils from your face which can lead to dryness or irritation so it’s best to stick with something gentle like Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser or Dermalogica Multi-Active Foaming Cleanser.
Try using moisturizer after every cleansing step as well! Moisturizing is essential for keeping acne at bay (and preventing wrinkles), but make sure not apply too much because this can cause clogged pores and irritate already sensitive skin types such as Rosacea sufferers or those who suffer from rosacea flare ups regularly like myself!
Lastly, if all else fails then there are plenty more options out there such as masks (which helps remove excess dirt/oil) scrubs (which exfoliate dead skin cells), peels (which remove dead layers of skin), serums (like retinol), toners(cleanses excess dirt & oil off your face) sunscreens(protects against harmful UV rays).

Stop showering so much!

This is because water strips away everything from sweat to sebum—the oily substance produced by our sebaceous glands that keeps skin moisturized.
